In 1986, Land Pride was launched as a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. and quickly established itself as a leading brand in grooming mowers, rotary tillers, rotary cutters, landscape seeding equipment, and dirt working implements. Our employees often come from rural areas and agriculture backgrounds – they know the products they build and they understand how our customers will use them. This knowledge helps us build a product that will perform as expected for years to come. We also have Research and Development facilities in Salina, Kansas just a block from our Corporate Headquarters. All of our products undergo rigorous testing. When you buy a Land Pride product, you know that it has been tested – and passed – in real-world situations that are more rugged and demanding than it will likely see in its service life.

Exmark Manufacturing was founded in 1982 as an independent manufacturer of professional turf care equipment. The company began its manufacturing operation with seven employees in a garage-type building located just south of Beatrice, Nebraska. The company focused on manufacturing a line of mid-size walk-behind mowers and turf rakes. The product line was expanded to include commercial riding mowers. At Exmark, we remain focused on innovation, and on moving the turf care industry forward today, tomorrow, and in the future. Our vision is driven by our commitment to delivering more for our customers. More productivity, more reliability, more uptime, more comfort, and more long-term value.

Redefining Standards

For five decades, ECHO has been a worldwide leader in the development and manufacturing of professional-grade, hand-held outdoor power equipment for both the commercial and homeowner markets. Originating in Northbrook, IL, in 1972, ECHO began servicing the outdoor power equipment industry with high-performance 2-cycle engines and handheld products manufactured by Kioritz Corporation of Japan. ECHO revolutionized the landscape industry by inventing the world's first backpack blower, the PB-9 in 1975 plus the world's first handheld blower, the PB-200 in 1978 and is credited with many other world firsts in outdoor power equipment solutions ever since. The majority of ECHO products are built in the United States from foreign and domestic parts and components. Today ECHO’s engine technology represents the very best in industry leadership - balancing high-quality performance with environmental demands in a 2-stroke engine.
